A Future

Society and technology actually go hand in hand as far as how they develop. As a kid I lugged around more textbooks than my small frame could handle and it was all for the sake of learning. Nowadays textbooks have become available online or for an e-reader which makes learning that much easier to physically handle. Technology has constantly advanced with each major society. "Printing" was done on cave sides, mud, clay, clay tablets, papyrus, vellum, paper, etc. and continues to expand it's borders of possibilities. We have come a great way in the development of writing and learning. Using the limitations of the previous method we were able to create something better to serve our needs for longer. Honestly, we will continue to do so. Now it is a kindle but in the future it may be a pair of glasses that will show you the words in front of you so you can read as you walk or maybe even something better. The fact that we continue to progress does show a future that is bright with new technology and better ways to share knowledge and information.

The end

There is such a fascination in older movies and books with "the end" and I cannot quite understand why. I do understand what the words mean and that they symbolize the end of the story or movie, but wouldn't the closing cover of a book do the same? Or even the ending credits? Why must the writers or whoever else put "the end" at the end of it? Does it cease the existence of the characters? Is it the author's way of saying they're done with the characters, the story, and anything else related? What happens for the characters after the end? It's never the end for them. Even when a character dies it's not the end. What about the other characters? Didn't the death affect anybody? It's never truly the end in a story. Maybe it's just that people expect it.

Angry

I feel so angry... I saw a post by an ex and it just infuriated me. I don't know if he was talking about me or if he meant something different than what I thought but my immediate reaction is to be offended and I don't offend easily. I am so angry about it and I have no idea why... ugh...

exhausted

I've been sick lately and all it has done is sucked the energy right out of me. Been on wattpad.com a lot though. i couldn't recommend the site more highly (:

Arg...

I like being able to be myself... I don't want to have to censor myself because of what others might think. I don't want to have to be self conscience about what I have to say or even what I want to say. I am tired of saying things and then being criticized over stupid things. There is so much misunderstanding in the world that I refuse to be one of those people who won't say what they mean!

Wow...

I was just watching Tom and Jerry and I was appalled at what I witnessed. This particular episode was the Two Mouseketeers. Tom was in charge of protecting a feast from any mice (I'm so shocked). Tom and the two mice battled over a feast (so surprising I know). Well at the end the two mice are bringing their spoils home and they show the blade of a guillotine on top of a building being raised. When it falls the small mouse says, "poor pussycat." I was appalled that they actually killed Tom and that the mice just walked off like well that's the way it is, after a shrug. I am reminded of why I always change the channel when Tom and Jerry is on. This show truly bothers me.

Time

Why are there never enough hours in a day? It seems like there isn't enough time to accomplish everything I want to do! I have been trying to write all that I need to do in an organizer but it only sometimes works. Anybody have any ideas? I'm getting frustrated trying to get everything in...

What is going on??

I think my mind hates me. I'm spending time with people only to wish that they were somebody else. I hate school, but love what I am studying. I am writing a fun story with a friend and I don't feel like writing. I keep wanting to be happy but I don't have the energy to let myself be. It's a weird circling problem that I dislike but don't know how to fix. With all the weirdness going on, my head is surprisingly clear. I suddenly feel the urge to watch something cute and silly....
